Description
The prayer of The Divine Mercy was dictated by Jesus to St. Faustina, a simple uneducated Polish nun, in the Chapel of the Convent of Our Lady of Mercy in Vilnius on September 13th & 14, 1935.
Jesus appeared to St. Faustina in a vision and He asked her to paint an image of what she saw with the signature "Jesus, I Trust In You." Jesus promised that the souls that say this Chaplet will be embraced by His Mercy during their lifetime and especially at the hour of their death.
"The graces of My Mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only and that is trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet...My Mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world."
