O mighty Archangel Gabriel, the Church venerates you as the "Angel of the Incarnation" because God appointed you to hear the messages concerning the Savior of the world. Your very name means "God is my strength."
Strengthen my will to strive for holiness of life. Steady my resolutions and renew my courage. Help me in my daily trials, and console me in my afflictions, as you consoled our Savior in His agony, Mary in her sorrows, and Joseph in his trials.
